Country Calling Codes: Group 8

Japan is 81, South Korea 82, Vietnam 84, North Korea 850, Cambodia 855, Laos 856, and China 86. Hong Kong is 852, Macau 853.

Code 800 is assigned to the Universal International Freephone Service (UIFN), and 808 to Universal International Shared Cost numbers.

Code 870 is assigned to the British global communications company Inmarsat, and 881 to a group of satellite phone providers known collectively as the Global Mobile Satellite System. 822 and 823 are used by services that are not dedicated to a single country.
